Know the therapist and understand the process

Mrs. Angel Haye, LAPC

I am a Georgia native and enjoy giving back to my community. A passion for helping others has transformed into a career of changing lives through helping people to heal from their past challenges, and triumph with new experiences.

As an LAPC in Georgia, I am currently under the supervision of Monique Knight LPC, CPCS of Comprehensive Family Care based in DeKalb County Georgia.

How do I know if professional counseling will help me?

Long of the short, you will not know until you make an attempt. Your mental health is just as a important as your physical and emotional health. I suggest setting an appointment and discussing your concerns at that time. You can schedule for a consultation if you would like to see if virtual counseling is a fit for you, or schedule during one of my in-office days.

What happens during our first session?

During your first session we will review some intake forms and you discuss together what your goals and concerns are regarding starting a therapeutic relationship. If you decide to move forward, then we continue working towards those previously determined goals.

Please note a consultation is roughly 15 minutes and is just to get a very brief familiarity with you and see if we can work well together to help meet your needs. An actual session is 50 minutes in length and we dive into your challenges and presenting issues at that time with more intensity. Therapy works best with consistency.

I am highly interested, but not sure about affordability.

Many of our clients use insurance. Multiple types of insurance plans are accepted. Our accepted insurance list includes:

  • Amerigroup

  • Caresource

  • BC/BS

  • Cigna

  • TriCare
